Travelers use the passenger-movement function at Whiteman Air Force Base, near Knob Noster in west-central Missouri. The 509th Logistics Readiness Squadron supports Space-A flights on a mission-dependent basis at this Air Force Global Strike Command installation. Official Whiteman pages describe the host 509th Bomb Wing as the Air Force's only B-2 Spirit wing and the sole B-2 schoolhouse. Air Mobility Command files the site under Non-AMC CONUS terminals.

Where is the passenger terminal?

Street address and building number: Not published on a Whiteman Space-A / PAX page (none exists) or on the live AMC Non-AMC CONUS row.

On base. GPS a generic “Whiteman AFB” pin is not a terminal pin. No official terminal-map URL.

Do not use Public Affairs 509 Spirit Blvd, Bldg 509 or MPF / Civilian Personnel 330 Ellsworth Lane as the passenger terminal. Official 509th MSG / 509th LRS pages describe transportation of personnel, household goods, and cargo for the B-2 wing — unit mission language, not a traveler SOP and not a facility address. The 2024/2025 509 LRS Daedalian / Terminal of the Year articles document a passenger-movement function, not a building number.

Unofficial “ask at Main Gate” listings are flagged unofficial.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

There is no PAX-terminal page to print a passenger gate. From official whiteman.af.mil/baseaccess/ (Wayback HTTP 200, 2026 calendar rewrite; live search 27 Aug 2026 matching):

100% ID checks at all gates. Persons 16+ need a state or federal picture ID. No DoD / approved Federal ID: valid reason, NCIC background, and a Whiteman pass. Drivers need license, insurance, and registration. AFGSC REAL ID required for visitors (gold-star REAL ID or Enhanced Driver License). Alternatives listed on that page include a raised-seal birth certificate plus Social Security card, U.S./foreign passport or passport card, Veteran’s Health Identification Card, or TWIC. Non-compliant REAL ID extension requests go through the Visitor Center (up to 30 days; 509 BW/CC or designee). Fail ID → denied entry.

Gates (same page):

  • Spirit Gate (West): 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Media/newsroom also routes unescorted media to Spirit Gate off Hwy 23 via Spirit Blvd unless otherwise arranged.
  • Arnold Gate (North): 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.
  • LeMay Gate (South): commercial gate, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Visitor Center: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Contact (660) 687-7959 or (660) 687-2834 (baseaccess page). Walk-ins processed in order of arrival. Passes up to 72 hours if the sponsor does not reside on base; up to 30 days if the sponsor lives in Whiteman housing and the guest is a relative. Non-U.S. citizen applications: DoD ID sponsor, minimum 14 days, passport/visa, ICE screening — Visitor Center (660) 687-7959 or 6164 on that same page.

A DoD ID cardholder 18+ may escort/sponsor. Pass holders cannot escort. Weapons: visitors may not bring weapons (concealed-carry permit does not authorize it). Burger King / Taco Bell / shopping / sightseeing are not valid unescorted-access reasons.

CAC / DoD ID holders use an open vehicle-access gate. Retirees and dependents without a current pass should not assume a 0330 Sunday walk-up at Arnold or LeMay (those gates are weekday).

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours: Not published. Homepage-only with no PAX clock on whiteman.af.mil. Do not copy VCC 24/7 or Spirit Gate 24/7 onto the Space-A desk. User/workbook rule: homepage with no printed PAX hours → Not published. Workbook hours were empty.

Whiteman is not on the HQ AMC 40-location Space-A email form.

Do not use TMO / Traffic Management Office (660) 687-4118 as Space-A. That is the directory TMO line, not the AMC Space-A mailbox.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

HQ AMC does not process this location. The 40-location form does not list Whiteman. The AMC Travel Self-Signup Tool (live 26 March 2026 for AMC locations) is not a published Whiteman path — Whiteman is labeled Non-AMC CONUS. Print the sent message. There is no local field list, QR, or walk-in SOP on official HTML.

How and when do I mark present?

Not published. No official page uses “mark present” or a show-time clock. Remote email is not presence. Do not invent a counter-open time. Have documents and bags with you if a mission is held.

When is roll call?

Not published. No roll-call product, PDF, or “N hours prior” line. If a mission is held, it would be at the counter — not a web product.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Not published. No PE check-in clock. This location is not advertised as a Patriot Express gateway.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Not published. Do not copy another terminal’s 2×70 lb or PE head tax.

Can I travel with pets from here?

Spirit Gate 24/7 — is the Space-A desk 24/7?

No. Gate hours are not counter hours. PAX hours are Not published.

Do I need a sponsor for a 72-hour pass?

A Whiteman DoD ID cardholder must sponsor/validate pass requests. Walk-in 72-hour passes: sponsor does not have to live on base. Longer than 72 hours: DoD sponsor/POC must validate. Non-U.S. citizens: 14 days ahead.

Is this a Patriot Express terminal?

No on official HTML.

Is there a 72-hour PDF?

Which gate for a truck/RV?

LeMay Gate (South) is the commercial gate (weekday 0600–1800). The baseaccess page does not print an oversize-POV exception for Spirit.

Can I use the HQ AMC 40-location email form and pick a nearby CONUS terminal?
