Where is the passenger terminal?

139th Air Terminal Function, Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, Building 19, 705 Memorial Dr., St. Joseph, MO 64503.

Workbook address matches the official Space-A contact block. GPS Building 19 / 705 Memorial Dr., not a generic Rosecrans Memorial Airport (STJ) commercial-terminal pin. On the ANG base. No official terminal-map URL on the Space-A page.

AATTC (Advanced Airlift Tactics Training Center) is a tenant on the same installation (Units page). It is not the Space-A counter. Space-A is 139th Air Terminal Function, Bldg 19.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The Space-A page does not name a passenger gate or print gate hours. Contact Us lists Operator 816-236-3300. A 139 AW deployment/TDY checklist PDF prints Main Gate (816) 236-3316 — not the Space-A HTML product; flagged, not used as the gate clock. Do not invent a 24/7 VCC. CAC / DoD ID holders use an open vehicle-access gate. Confirm access with Air Terminal Function (816) 236-3552 / 3430 before a weekend show (counter is Monday–Friday only). This FAQ did not call.

Homepage NO DRONE ZONE: the Missouri ANG base and Rosecrans Memorial Airport (STJ) — illegal to fly an unmanned aircraft without prior FAA approval and certification.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

  • AMC Form 140 - Space-A sign-up (`AFD-120117-040.pdf`, dated 2012 on the filename)
  • DD Form 1853 (`AFD-120117-041.pdf`, Oct 1999 form / 2012 AFD filename)

Those PDFs are dated local copies. Prefer current AMC-hosted forms if the 2012 files disagree. HQ AMC does not process this location. Print whatever you send. The Space-A page does not print a cutoff clock, confirmation-email SOP, or “NLT the day prior.” This FAQ did not call or email.

How and when do I mark present?

The Space-A page does not use the phrase “mark present” and does not print a show-time clock. Remote email is not presence. Have ID and documents on your person. Confirm reporting instructions with Air Terminal Function when you have a mission. Drop bags at Bldg 19 (parking note below) is not a substitute for being present at selection.

When is roll call?

Not published as a roll-call time or product URL. No 72-hour table with a SHOW TIME column. Do not invent “2 hours prior.” Confirm with the desk for that mission.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Not published as a separate PE 24-hour clock (not a PE gateway). Duty passengers are accommodated before Space-A as a general AMC rule; this page does not print a local duty NLT. Use the Monday–Friday counter plus whatever reporting instructions the desk gives for that mission.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Not published as a PE gateway. No 30-day PE icon. Organic / transient C-130 leftovers (139 AW). Do not plan a rotator from St. Joseph from a blog. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Is there a DSN?

Is Mon–Fri 0700–1500 the counter clock?

Not on the Space-A HTML. Official hours line is Monday–Friday with no clock. Unofficial 0700–1500 is a 2014 lead — not used.

Can I use 139aw.space.a@ang.af.mil or 816-236-3472?

No. Those are unofficial/stale. Official: 139.AW.SPACE.A@us.af.mil and 816-236-3552/3430.

Do I register at AATTC or Bldg 19?

Bldg 19, 139th Air Terminal Function. AATTC is a tenant schoolhouse, not the Space-A desk.

Are the hosted Form 140 / 1853 PDFs current?

They are 2012 AFD copies of AMC Form 140 and DD Form 1853 (Oct 1999). Dated. If AMC has a newer file, use that. Do not treat the 2012 filenames as a 2026 rewrite.

Is this on the HQ AMC 40-location form or the March 2026 self-signup tool?

Can I fly a drone to photograph the C-130?

No. Official homepage: No-Drone Zone covering the base and STJ. FAA approval/certification required; violators subject to seizure and legal action.

Is there on-base lodging if I miss a leftover?

No. Contact Us: Billeting 816-236-3486 (No on-base lodging). AF Inns has no Rosecrans property.

Where do I park and drop bags?

East parking lot; bag drop at Bldg 19 Air Terminal Function. Max days not published.
