Where is the passenger terminal?

There is no AMC-operated passenger terminal. Roll calls are in the 43d Air Mobility Squadron (AMS) Building 753 lobby, 3541 Surveyor St., Pope Field, NC 28308.

GPS 3541 Surveyor St / Bldg 753, not a generic “Fort Bragg / Fort Liberty” pin and not the commercial Fayetteville airport. On the installation. No published terminal-map URL.

Conflict — second official-looking page: https://www.pope.af.mil/About-Us/Space-A-Travel/ (indexed 27 Aug 2026) still titles itself “Pope Passenger Terminal” and prints 4535 Surveyor Street, Pope Army Airfield, NC 28308. That is not the AMC page address. Official AMC terminal page wins (3541 / Bldg 753). Flag 4535; do not silently pick.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The AMC Pope page does not print gate names or gate hours. Pope Field sits on the Fort Bragg / Fort Liberty installation (AMC page says Fort Liberty; the garrison site title fetched 27 Aug 2026 is still Fort Bragg).

From official home.army.mil/bragg Access Control (fetched 27 Aug 2026; page last modified 27 Jul 2026, 6:43 p.m.):

  • All American ACP (Gate 5) is closed for Gruber Road bridge replacement and roadway settlement (effective 27 Jul 2026; construction described as up to 24 months). Visitors use other gates.
  • All American Visitor Control Center (Bldg H-1575, outside ACP 5): 5 a.m.–9 p.m., 7 days a week (0500–2100). Passes: (910) 907-5165/5166.
  • Canopy Lane ACP: open 24/7 inbound and outbound.
  • Also listed open 24/7: Yadkin Road, Long Street, Chicken Road, Honeycutt Road, R. Miller Road, Linden Oaks, and Simmons Army Airfield. (Simmons is not Pope Field — do not invent a “Pope gate” from that list.)
  • Butner / Manchester / Rock Merritt: 5 a.m.–9 p.m.; closed weekends and federal holidays.
  • Knox Street ACP closed to all traffic; Truck Plaza commercial only.

Stale after-hours sentence on the same access page still tells non-DoD visitors to use the All American Access Control Point 2100–0500. That ACP is closed. The July 27 2026 hours block and the garrison homepage (1-day pass at Canopy Lane 9 p.m.–5 a.m.) win. Flagged.

CAC / DoD ID / retiree ID holders use an open vehicle ACP. Visitors without a DoD ID process at the All American VCC during 0500–2100. A roll call when VCC is closed is a planning problem if you do not already have access. Online visitor-pass process is on home.army.mil/bragg (U.S. citizens with REAL ID-compliant ID).

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours (official AMC page): “Representatives only available during Roll Call times.” This is not a 24/7 counter.

Live AMC directory (27 Aug 2026) matches (910) 394-1003 and that mailbox, and prints DSN (312) 424-1003. Do not publish (312) as a commercial number. Commercial is 910. DSN as printed on the terminal page is 424-1003.

pope.af.mil Space-A page prints Pope.Space.A@us.af.mil (same local-part as Verify B, different case) and a different phone: 910-394-6527. AMC terminal page phone (910) 394-1003 wins. Flag 394-6527; do not silently advertise it as the Space-A line.

Flight-delay note on the AMC page: “Current as of 29 April 2026 at 0728L” — updates only if there are changes. That is not a 72-hour board.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Drop box in the lobby of Building 753, or email (Verify A and Verify B above — do not silently pick), or use the HQ AMC Space-A form and select Pope Field NC (on the HQ form list).

HQ AMC does not process sign-up. Print the form or confirmation. Representatives are only present at advertised roll-call times, so a drop-box slip is not a same-day conversation with a PSA.

How and when do I mark present?

The AMC page does not print a remote mark-present. Be in the Building 753 lobby at the advertised roll-call time with documents and bags. Email / drop-box sign-up is not presence. If you arrive when no roll call is advertised, there may be no representative.

When is roll call?

At advertised roll-call times in the 43 AMS Bldg 753 lobby. There is no standing clock on the HTML and no 72-hour / roll-call PDF URL (verified Not published 27 Aug 2026). Space-A travel information is “from this site or by calling Passenger Services at (910) 394-1003.” All flights can change without notice. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Not published as a separate PE/duty NLT on the AMC HTML. Show at the advertised roll-call time in Bldg 753. There is no early-bird counter the day prior because there is no AMC passenger terminal.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Not published. The AMC page does not name Patriot Express, does not host a 30-day PE icon, and states AMC no longer operates a passenger terminal. Do not invent a Pope PE. Organic / mission roll calls only, as advertised. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Official page (quoted): no long term parking. No short-term lot, max-day figure, or pass rule is published. Do not invent a flight-line lot from blogs.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

Not named on the AMC Pope HTML. The page only says “limited transportation services or lodging.”

Pope Field is not on the live Air Force Inns property list. This FAQ does not substitute an IHG Army Hotels phone as if it were printed on the AMC page. Confirm lodging with the installation; do not assume a room next to Bldg 753.

Off-base hotels are not listed on the AMC page. No nightly rates here.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

Official page (quoted negative list): traveler amenities and services are severely limited, including but not limited to:

  • no long term parking
  • no long term passenger holding area
  • limited transportation services or lodging
  • no vending machines / food services
  • no telephone / fax / internet / e-mail

Do not plan on USO, showers, lockers, Wi-Fi, or a hold room. Those are unpublished because the listed services are not there.

What documents are required?

Space-A: DoDI 4515.13 eligibility plus whatever the destination requires (ID, orders/leave, passports). Bring documents to the lobby at roll call. The AMC HTML does not reprint a unique local field list beyond HQ sign-up.

Duty: funded travel orders. There is still no AMC passenger-terminal counter outside advertised roll calls.

Have ID/orders on your person.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Not published on the AMC Pope HTML (no 70 lb / 62-inch block, no PE tax). HQ AMC / DoDI 4515.13 baggage rules still apply in general; this page does not restate them. No PE fee is printed because no PE is published here.

Can I travel with pets from here?

Not published on the AMC Pope HTML (no pet-slot policy). HQ AMC Pet Travel page exists; this terminal page does not link a local pet rule. Confirm with Passenger Services at (910) 394-1003 before you count on a pet space — and remember representatives are only there at roll call.

Is there a 24/7 passenger counter?

No. Representatives are only available during advertised roll-call times. AMC no longer operates a passenger terminal here.

Which email is correct?

Do not silently pick. Verify A contact-block / directory / workbook: 43AMS.POPESPACEA.Travel@us.af.mil. Verify B body sign-up: pope.space.a@us.af.mil. Both are on the same official AMC HTML. Print whatever confirmation you get.

Why does pope.af.mil say 4535 Surveyor and 910-394-6527?

That is a second official-looking page. It conflicts with the AMC terminal page (3541 Surveyor / Bldg 753 / (910) 394-1003). AMC page wins. Flag 4535 and 394-6527 as unverified-for-this-FAQ / likely stale.

Can I wait in the terminal all afternoon for a rumor mission?

No holding area is published; the page says no long-term passenger holding area, no food, no internet. Plan to be travel-ready at the advertised roll-call time, then leave if there is no representative.

Is All American Gate the Pope Field gate?

All American ACP is closed as of 27 Jul 2026. The VCC at All American is still the visitor-pass office 0500–2100. Do not drive to a closed ACP. Use an open gate from the 27 Jul 2026 list. The AMC page does not name a Space-A gate.

Does “Fort Liberty” vs “Fort Bragg” change the address?

AMC prints Fort Liberty; the garrison site title is still Fort Bragg. Street address for roll call is 3541 Surveyor St., Pope Field, NC 28308 / Bldg 753.

Is there AF Inns on Pope Field?

No matching AF Inns property (live list 27 Aug 2026). Do not invent Carolina Inn / Moon Hall hours from unofficial directories.

What does the 29 April 2026 stamp mean?

Only that the delay/changes box on the AMC page last posted a change then. It is not a 72-hour schedule and not a promise that nothing moved after April.

Can I use DSN (312) 424-1003 as a cell-phone number?

No. Do not publish AMC (312) as commercial. Dial (910) 394-1003.

Do I need to be on the drop-box list and email?

The page lists drop box or e-mail. It does not require both. Because two mailboxes exist, print confirmation and bring a paper copy to the lobby.
