Osan's AMC passenger terminal is at Osan Air Base in Pyeongtaek, Republic of Korea. The 731st Air Mobility Squadron runs passenger service on the installation that hosts the 51st Fighter Wing. Official wing pages call the 51st the Air Force's most forward-deployed permanently based wing. Space-A flights here are Korean Peninsula AMC travel from that fighter-wing field, not a commercial airport.

Where is the passenger terminal?

Osan AB Passenger Terminal – AMC, Bldg 648, Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea.

GPS Bldg 648 on Osan, not a generic “Osan Air Base” or Songtan pin. On base. No published terminal map URL on the AMC page.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The AMC terminal page does not name a Space-A gate. Official osan.af.mil Visitor Passes page (indexed 27 Aug 2026):

  • Morin Gate VCC: 0600–2200
  • Main Gate: 24 hours (5-day escorted visitor pass also processed there)
  • Pass & ID hours: Monday–Friday 0730–1500 (appointments 0800–1200; walk-ins 1200–1500); Thursdays reserved for ROKAF conscripts; closed federal holidays / FW down days / wing or MSG training days. Contact 315-784-4489/5194

CAC / DoD ID holders use a vehicle-access gate. Visitors without CAC or dependent ID need VCC processing. Direct fetch of osan.af.mil returned Access Denied from this environment; the hours above are from the indexed official page. Confirm on osan.af.mil / AF Connect before a late or weekend show.

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours (official AMC page — this is more specific than the workbook):

  • Monday–Friday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. (0700–1800)
  • Patriot Express departure days: 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. (0600–1800)

Workbook “0700–1800” is the weekday block only. Official page wins for the PE-day 0600 open. Saturday/Sunday standing hours are not printed on the AMC HTML. Unofficial directories that say “weekends closed” are not verification. PE-day 0600–1800 applies when a PE operates that calendar day, including if that day is a weekend — the HTML does not spell that edge case out; use the 72-hour.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Email OsanSpaceA@us.af.mil, or use the HQ AMC Space-A email form and select Osan AB Korea. Osan is on the 40-location form list.

Must be on leave status to sign up for Space-A (printed on the page). HQ AMC does not process sign-up. Print the form or confirmation. AMC Self-Signup Tool for AMC locations.

How and when do I mark present?

The page does not print a separate remote mark-present. Be at the Passenger Service Counter for the roll-call time on the 72-hour forecast. Email sign-up is not present.

When is roll call?

Typically no earlier than 3 hours and 30 minutes prior to departure at the Passenger Service Counter. Refer to the 72-hour forecast for Roll Call times.

Duty / space-required: NLT 3 hours and 30 minutes prior. Late arrivals are redirected to their CTO/TMO for rebooking (or as PCS orders instruct).

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

NLT 3 hours 30 minutes prior for duty passengers on orders. The HTML does not print a standing early-bird the day prior. Follow 72-hour remarks. PE-day terminal hours start 0600.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Yes — the page prints separate Patriot Express Departure Days hours (0600–1800) and a PE Space-A tax line.

Wayback HTTP 200 4 Feb 2025: “Our flights primarily serve locations in Japan and Seattle, Washington.” That is a region statement, not this week’s board. Live search snippets of the same URL (27 Aug 2026) still show the PE-day hours and the tax line.

June 2026 PDFs on AMC terminals are dated products if the filename/month is June 2026 — do not treat them as a standing undated board. This environment did not retrieve Osan-specific June 2026 PDF bytes (AMC 403). If the live page icons open a June 2026 72-hour/30-day/Gram, use them only as that file’s date, then re-check before you travel. Do not plan from unofficial blogs.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Not published on the official AMC Osan page. Do not invent a “no public parking” rule from unofficial directories.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

Off-base: Not published on the AMC terminal page (Songtan is mentioned on the AF Inns attractions line only). No hotel endorsement list here.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

Not published on the official AMC Osan HTML (no USO, Wi-Fi, locker, or shower block). Unofficial blogs that list amenities are not verification. Do not assume a USO inside Bldg 648.

What documents are required?

Duty: funded travel orders; in line NLT 3h30m.

Space-A: DoDI 4515.13 eligibility; leave status required to sign up; passports/visas/FCG as required; sign-up confirmation.

Command-sponsored dependents: current SOFA stamps/visa. If the SOFA stamp is expired, visit immigration and renew before departing.

Have passports, orders, and pet paperwork on your person.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Bags (official page): 2 bags per person, 70 lb each, 62 linear inches. One carry-on plus one personal item under the seat.

PE Space-A (live page): $41.63 per passenger for Head Tax and Federal Inspection Fee. Fees change; do not treat $41.63 as locked months out. Payment method (cash vs card) is not printed on the Osan HTML.

Can I travel with pets from here?

The page warns: temperatures above 85°F or below 20°F place pets at additional risk; air transportation for animals is not recommended in those conditions. Live page also flags New World Screwworm (NWS) documentation for pets arriving from or transiting NWS-affected countries. HQ AMC: PE pets are PCS via TMO, limited. Confirm with the desk; Space-A pet space is not promised.

Is the terminal open at 0600 every day?

No. Standing weekday hours are 0700–1800. 0600 is printed for Patriot Express departure days. Weekends without a PE are not printed.

Why does the directory add /1854?

Unknown. It is on the live AMC directory, not on the terminal-page contact block. Flagged. Start with 0505-784-6883. Unofficial spacea.net treats 1854 as a recording — that is a lead only.

Do I have to be on leave to email sign-up?

Yes, per the page: must be on leave status to sign up for Space-A.

Where do late duty passengers go?

CTO/TMO for rebooking (or as PCS orders instruct) — not automatically onto the mission.

Is Seattle still a PE destination?

Feb 2025 official HTML said flights primarily serve Japan and Seattle. That sentence was not re-quoted in 27 Aug 2026 snippets. Treat it as last captured Feb 2025 on Wayback, then verify on the live 72-hour. Do not freeze a 2025 sentence as a 2026 timetable.

Command-sponsored dependents with an expired SOFA stamp?

They must renew at immigration before departing. Do not show at roll call hoping it will be waived.

Is there AF Inns in Bldg 648?

No. AF Inns Osan is a 51 FSS/FSVL property (Unit 2065 on the AF Inns page), not the passenger terminal. Front desk 0505-784-1844 is lodging, not Space-A (6883).

Can I use Kunsan phones or email here?

No. Kunsan is a different AMC listing (Kunsan.SPACEA@us.af.mil). Osan is OsanSpaceA@us.af.mil.

Are June 2026 PDFs current?

If the filename is June 2026, they are dated. Re-open the live icon. This FAQ did not retrieve those PDF bytes (AMC 403).

Masks on the aircraft?

Feb 2025 Wayback: masks on DoD conveyances were recommended, optional. That is a 2025 sentence; do not treat it as a 2026 force-health order. Check current FHP.

Main Gate vs Morin Gate at 0500?

Official visitor page: Main Gate 24 hours; Morin VCC 0600–2200. A 0500 PE show still needs installation access. Pass & ID itself is weekday 0730–1500.

Does the $41.63 include FIS?

Live page wording: $41.63 per passenger for Head Tax and Federal Inspection Fee (one combined figure on that HTML). Other terminals split head tax vs FIS. Quote Osan’s sentence; do not add Norfolk’s $18.23 FIS on top.
