Travelers looking for Offutt Space-A flights use the 55th Logistics Readiness Squadron Small Air Terminal in Bellevue, Nebraska, about ten miles south of downtown Omaha. Offutt hosts the 55th Wing, U.S. Strategic Command, and the 557th Weather Wing. RC-135 Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft and the E-4B National Airborne Operations Center fly from this field. The passenger function is an air transportation operation, not a coastal AMC gateway.

Where is the passenger terminal?

55th LRS Passenger Terminal, 602 Looking Glass Blvd, Offutt AFB, NE 68123.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The PAX page does not print gate names. Use offutt.af.mil homepage / Newcomer Gate Hours (search-indexed 27 Aug 2026; direct fetch 403):

  • STRATCOM Gate — 24/7/365
  • Kenney (Flag) Gate — 6 a.m.–9 p.m. daily. Homepage also lists closed on Federal Holidays, ACC Family Days, and 55th Wing Goal Days. One mobile “Quick Links” snippet listed holidays only. Print the fuller homepage closure list; still flag the shorter mobile line.
  • Bellevue Gate — Monday–Friday 6 a.m.–6 p.m. Closed Sat & Sun, Federal Holidays, ACC Family Days, and 55th Wing Goal Days.

Visitor Control Center: Bldg 478, adjacent to the USSTRATCOM Gate (55th MSG also: 601 Butler Blvd, inside Bldg 478). Homepage / Newcomer: Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–4 p.m.; closed Federal Holidays & ACC/55th Wing Family Days. When the VCC is closed, visitor passes may be issued at the USSTRATCOM Gate.

55th MSG unit page prints the same office 0700–1600 Monday–Friday (that is 7 a.m.–4 p.m. — same clock, 24-hour notation). Closures include Federal Holidays, Command Family Days, and Wing Goal Days.

CAC / DoD ID holders use an open vehicle-access gate (STRATCOM 24/7). A weekend/holiday Space-A show when VCC is closed: passes at STRATCOM Gate, not Bellevue (closed weekends). Gate times change for exercises; see Exercise Base Impacts.

How and when do I mark present?

The PAX page does not use “mark present.” Email sign-up is not presence. Be at 602 Looking Glass Blvd with documents. After hours, the recording 402-294-7111 is not a roll-call desk.

When is roll call?

Not published as an “N hours prior” clock or Roll Call PDF. Page points at generic AMC Travel Site, not a local board. Confirm show time on the 24-hour recording 402-294-7111 or at the counter during hours. Do not invent a 3-hour desk.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

The PAX page mentions “Commercial Patriot Express” only inside the hoverboard prohibition (devices not authorized on any DoD-owned or controlled aircraft including Commercial Patriot Express and military aircraft).
