March Air Reserve Base in Moreno Valley, inland Southern California, hosts Space-A flights at the 452nd Air Mobility Wing passenger terminal. Official March pages say the Reserve wing flies C-17 Globemaster III and KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft, and that the installation is home to Air Force Reserve Command's largest air mobility wing plus Army, Navy, Marine Corps Reserve, and Air National Guard tenants. This is an AFRC terminal, not Travis Air Force Base.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The Space-A page does not print gate names or gate hours. Official: formulate your plan for transportation to and from the March terminal. There is no shuttle availalbe (page spelling). 1.6-mile walk to the main gate; summer temperatures often exceed 100 degrees. If you return via March without a car parked on base, arrange a person with a military ID card to pick you up. The Space-A HTML does not print a guest-escort SOP beyond that pickup line. Do not invent a named gate from blogs. Confirm with the passenger terminal 951-655-2397 / recording 951-655-2913 before you drive. This FAQ did not call.

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Email AMC Form 140 to 452LRS.PAX.TERMINAL@USAF.MIL, or fill out the form in the foyer of Bldg 385 until 2300 M–F, or fax copies of service documentation (desired country destinations and family first names) to 951-655-3887. Active duty: fax no earlier than the effective date of leave. Mail entries permitted to the 2475 Graeber St, Bldg 385 mailing address; the original sign-up stays with the passenger.

March is not on the HQ AMC 40-location email form. HQ AMC does not process sign-up. Print the sent mail. This FAQ did not call or email.

How and when do I mark present?

The page does not use the phrase “mark present.” Remote email / foyer form is not presence. On the day of your flight, arrive at the March passenger terminal two hours in advance for domestic flights and three hours in advance for international flights. Same page: arrival 2–3 hours in advance of the departure time is recommended. Before boarding, passengers walk through a metal detector; luggage is screened. Have documents on your person.

When is roll call?

Not published as a standing “N hours prior” or as a roll-call PDF/URL. Show is the 2-hour domestic / 3-hour international counter arrival on the official page. Roll call, if held, is in person at the counter. Call the 24-hour flight information line 951-655-2913 for the next 72 hours. This FAQ does not quote live showtimes.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Not published as a separate PE 24-hour check-in (this is not a PE gateway). Use the 2-hour domestic / 3-hour international arrival. Duty/PCS still work through orders / TMO — do not mix that with leftover Space-A seats. FAQ: DoD has reserved pet shipments for PCS — that is not a PE rotator.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

Official: March’s terminal is not open 24/7, has limited amenities, and transportation to the main gate (1.6 miles) can be a challenge. No itemized snack/wifi/shower/locker list on the HTML. Do not invent a snack bar. Historical 2013 news hours (8 a.m.–6 p.m. weekdays / 9 a.m.–noon Saturday) are not the current SOP clocks above.

What documents are required?

Duty / space-required: travel orders and destination documents (passports, visas, FCG). Have them on your person.

Space-A: DoDI 4515.13 eligibility plus the documents you fax/email with the Form 140. FAQ remote sign-up: copies of proper service documentation. Active duty leave must be effective. International: FCG / passports. AMC terminals screen pax and bags. Do not pack IDs in checked luggage.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Bags (official FAQ): Space-A may check two pieces at 70 pounds each per person. Family members traveling together may pool as long as the total does not exceed the total allowance. Each passenger may hand-carry one article (small luggage, garment bag, backpack, etc.) and one personal item (cosmetic case, purse, briefcase, small boxes). Main page: limitations to carry on. Travel light; do not pack valuables, medicine, or important papers in checked bags; name and current address on and inside bags.

PE / head-tax fees: not published (not a PE gateway).

Can I travel with pets from here?

No for Space-A. Main page: “You cannot bring your pet animals on the plane.” FAQ: “No. DoD has reserved pet shipments for passengers in permanent change of station (PCS) status.” Do not plan a pet on leftover seats. See the AMC Pet Travel page for PCS pet rules. This FAQ did not call.

Where are schedules posted?

Call the 24-hour flight information line 951-655-2913 — that is the published 72-hour channel (phone, not a URL). No 72-hour / roll-call / 30-day web board. No passenger-terminal Facebook on the Space-A page (footer is facebook.com/USairforce/; installation teammarch Facebook on unrelated news is not this terminal’s board). FAQ also says call 30–60 days before travel to discuss schedule / backlog / forecast — and warns the desk is often unmanned for calls. Dated 2014/2016 AMC terminal-contact PDFs on the page are stale pamphlets, not a current Gram. Recheck 2913 before you leave. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Which hours clock do I use?

Bldg 390, 385, or 265?

All three are on official pages. Walk-up / 2013 move: Bldg 390, 2523 Graeber. Foyer signup / mailing: Bldg 385 (main page foyer; FAQ mail 2475 Graeber). FAQ address block still Bldg 265. Unresolved in the workbook. Do not drop 265.

Desk 2397 or recording 2913?

2397 = passenger terminal desk (FAQ/main). 2913 = 24-hour flight recording (and Contact Us labels that same 2913 as “Passenger Terminal”). Do not merge. Use 2913 for the 72-hour outlook.

AMC says Email None — is the mailbox dead?

Can Uber drop me at Bldg 390 after 1600?

Not published as a ride-share policy. Official: no shuttle, 1.6 miles to the main gate, military-ID pickup if you have no car on base. Gate hours not printed. Do not assume after-hours commercial access.

Is parking really 14 days?

Yes — printed on the official Space-A page. Across Graeber from Bldg 390.

Are UTA weekends a second walk-in clock?

Official: terminal is also open on all UTA weekends; hours may vary. That is not the M–F lunch-break clock. Confirm 2913.

2 hours or 3 hours?

Domestic 2 hours; international 3 hours at the March passenger terminal. Same page also says 2–3 hours recommended. Bring all bags to screening.

Can I bring a dog on Space-A?

No (main page + FAQ). PCS pet shipments are a different DoD rule, not leftover Space-A.

Is this on the HQ AMC 40-location form?

Where is AF Inns relative to the terminal?
