Terminal FAQ

Last verified 27 August 2026. Hours, fees, and presence rules change. Confirm with this terminal’s official page before you travel. Pop’s is unofficial.

Where is the passenger terminal?

155th LRS / Air Transportation Function, 2420 West Butler Ave, Lincoln, NE 68524. Building 651; Room 92 (southeast corner of the building).

Workbook address matches. GPS Bldg 651, not a generic “Lincoln Airport” commercial-terminal pin. Joint-use with Lincoln Airport. Contact block: \*See map under “Advice to Passengers.” That Advice-to-Passengers icon is wired to the 2022 AMC_Gram.pdf, not a standalone current map URL. Base-map URL: Not published as a current separate file.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The Space-A page does not print gate names or gate hours. Drop-off, bags, and parking are the traveler’s to coordinate. No shuttle or transportation to/from the long-term lot to Building 651. No transportation provided beyond the Passenger Terminal. Rental cars: Lincoln Municipal Airport (official page links https://lincolnairport.com/at-the-airport/ground-transportation). Travelers set up the airport-to-base ride themselves.

Wing homepage directory (not a Space-A SOP): Command Post 402.309.1234 (24HRS). That is not a published passenger-gate clock. Do not invent a named gate from blogs. Confirm access with the Passenger Service Center 402-309-1167 / hotline 402-309-1248 before you drive. This FAQ did not call.

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours conflict — already recorded; do not silently pick. Official page wins; print both (and the other clocks on the same official HTML family).

| Clock | Where printed | |---|---| | Tue–Fri 0630–1700 Central Time (no call-ahead if roll call is inside this window; federal holidays may affect it) | Official 72-Hour Schedule page | | Walk-in 0630–1600 Mon–Thu | Official Space-A HTML paragraph (workbook conflict already recorded). Live official-page index 27 Aug 2026: “6:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday” | | Processes passengers during normal duty hours 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (that sentence does not name days) | Official Space-A welcome | | Contact block: 6:30 am – 5:00 pm Tuesday – Friday; Bldg 651; Room 92 | Official Space-A contact (Wayback 8 Aug 2025 of the same URL) | | Live index 27 Aug 2026 also: stop by 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday | Same official Space-A URL |

Not 24/7. Limited support by personnel availability. Passenger Terminal opens 15 minutes prior to assigned mission roll call (72-hour page). Confirm the duty day on the hotline before you leave.

Email (official page, AMC directory, and workbook agree): 155.ARW.Space.A.Org@us.af.mil

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Email 155.ARW.Space.A.Org@us.af.mil, use the on-page AMC 140 Sign Up Form / DD Form 1853 (right-click/save if the 1853 link says “Please Wait”), or stop in Bldg 651 during a published walk-in window. Step-by-Step Guide icon is the dated Space A 2022/AFD-220629-008.pdf.

Lincoln is not on the HQ AMC 40-location email form. HQ AMC does not process sign-up. Print the sent mail. This FAQ did not call or email.

Once seats are released, “the passenger prioritization process can begin with the passengers that have signed up.” Remote email is not presence at roll call.

How and when do I mark present?

The page does not use the phrase “mark present.” All passengers must arrive movement ready (72-hour page). Flight check-in / roll call is at the passenger terminal (Bldg 651); the terminal opens 15 minutes prior to assigned mission roll call. Remote email / hotline listen is not presence.

Call the hotline before leaving for mission-status / time changes.

When is roll call?

At the assigned mission roll call time on the 72-Hour Schedule (and the Roll Call icon / proposed Roll-Call-Report page). Not published as a standing “N hours prior.” Terminal opens 15 minutes prior to that assigned time. All times CST. Missions outside the 72-hour window will not be posted (OPSEC).

After-hours / weekend / holiday intent (72-hour page):

  • Not required to call ahead if roll call is Tue–Fri 0630–1700 Central (federal holidays may affect this).
  • If roll call is after duty hours, or anytime on weekends and holidays, notify intent NLT 1500 on the duty day prior (may be adjusted on the 72-hour schedule or hotline). Call (402) 309-1167 or DSN 279-1167, leave a message if no answer, or email 155.ARW.Space.A.Org@us.af.mil with name, seats required, destination, and date. A PSA will be scheduled. If no interested passengers, the flight is removed the duty day prior and a roll call will not be held.
  • Active duty / AGR: you may call in; order of precedence is retained if leave status commences as expected.

This FAQ does not quote live showtimes or seats.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Duty: must have a physical copy of current travel orders for AMC to keep. Passengers who are not movement ready may be denied travel. Not published as a PE 24-hour check-in (this is not a PE gateway). Use the assigned roll-call time, the 15-minute open, and the hours conflict above. Late / weekend arrivals: see LATE ARRIVALS — stair truck and ramp transportation may not be available.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

No. The 155th ARW does not have channel missions, or regularly scheduled flights. 30-day URL: N/A. Official: due to mission type and Space-Required priority, not all flights release Space-A. Destinations are limited; contact the terminal. The HTML lists common destinations (not a board, not a promise): JB Hickam-Pearl Harbor, HI; Travis AFB, CA; Mildenhall AB, UK; and Andersen AFB, Guam. Do not treat that list as today’s rotator. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Overnight / long-term parking: NE corner of the large parking lot directly upon entering base. No shuttle lot ↔ Building 651. Drop-off, bags, and parking are the traveler’s. Max days: not published — do not invent one. Do not copy another ANG gym-lot rule onto Lincoln.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

On base: none. Official quote: “There is no base lodging and the terminal is not staffed 24/7. Travelers will need to set up lodging accordingly in Lincoln as well as transportation to and from the base.” Air Force Inns directory (27 Aug 2026) has no Lincoln ANGB / 155 ARW property. Not published. Do not copy Offutt AFB inn numbers onto Lincoln.

Off-base: “in Lincoln” — no hotel names or rates on the HTML.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

Official Terminal Amenities: snack and drink vending machines (credit-card enabled). There is no Wi-Fi or any other common services like those found in USO facilities. Lost-and-found: Passenger Service Representative. Showers/lockers not published.

What documents are required?

All passengers: movement ready. DoD ID cards must be valid. Passports must be valid for at least 3 months beyond departure date for international travel. DoDID numbers for children under 14 who do not have IDs. Space-A: physical copy of leave paperwork, DD 1853, Space-A travel letter, and/or EML. Duty: physical copy of current travel orders for AMC to keep. Eligibility: DoDI 4515.13. DoD is not obligated to continue or return a Space-A traveler; have funds for commercial onward travel. Have documents on your person.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Bag-count / 70 lb / 62-inch table: not published on the Space-A HTML (only drop-off of baggage and TSA prohibited-items pointer to tsa.gov). Do not invent “2 bags.” PE / head-tax fees: not published (not a PE gateway). Do not copy another terminal’s $41.63.

Can I travel with pets from here?

Not published on the Space-A HTML. Do not assume a pet slot. See the AMC Pet Travel page. This FAQ did not call.

Where are schedules posted?

On the official Space-A page icons (not Facebook as an official terminal board):

Footer Facebook is facebook.com/USairforce/ (generic USAF) and Instagram instagram.com/155arw/ (wing) — not a passenger-terminal schedule channel. Recheck the 72-hour page and call the hotline before you leave. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Which hours line is “the” hours?

There isn’t one. Print both recorded clocks: 72-hour page Tue–Fri 0630–1700 CT and walk-in 0630–1600 Mon–Thu. Same official site also still prints welcome 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and (Wayback contact) Tue–Fri 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., plus a live-index Mon–Fri 6:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. line. Do not silently pick. Confirm on 402-309-1248.

Is the terminal open Monday?

Monday is not in the 72-hour Tue–Fri 0630–1700 window and not in the contact-block Tuesday–Friday line. The recorded walk-in conflict is Mon–Thu 0630–1600. Weekend/Monday missions still exist only as after-hours intent (NLT 1500 duty day prior) — that is not a Monday walk-in clock. Not 24/7.

What if I skip the NLT 1500 call for a Saturday roll call?

Official: for after-hours / weekend / holiday roll calls, if no interested passengers, the flight is removed the duty day prior and a roll call will not be held. Call 402-309-1167 or email.

Where exactly is roll call?

Building 651, Room 92 (southeast corner) — terminal opens 15 minutes prior to the assigned mission roll call. Not the Lincoln Airport airline terminal.

Is 402-309-1248 the desk?

1248 = 24-hour recording (option 1). 1167 = Passenger Service Center / after-hours intent (leave a message). Do not treat them as one line.

Can I use the HQ AMC 40-location email form?

No row for Lincoln. Use 155.ARW.Space.A.Org@us.af.mil / walk-in / 1167.

Are Hickam / Travis / Mildenhall / Andersen today’s board?

No. Printed as common destinations. No channel missions. Recheck the 72-hour page and 1248. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Will they have stairs on a Sunday arrival?

Official LATE ARRIVALS: weekend / outside-duty-hours arrivals may have no services, including stair truck and transportation off the ramp for passengers and bags. Pack and plan.

Can I book Offutt AF Inns for a Lincoln show time?

No. Lincoln official page: no base lodging. AF Inns has no Lincoln property. Offutt is a different installation.

Is there Wi-Fi in Bldg 651?

Official: no Wi-Fi and no USO-like services. Credit-card vending only.

Is the Advice-to-Passengers “map” current?

The icon is the 2022 AMC_Gram.pdf. Treat as dated, not a current 2026 Gram or a standalone map URL.

Entire party — do I need everyone at Lincoln?

72-hour page: movement ready; leave seats required on the intent call. Do not invent a separate “entire party” sentence that is not on the live HTML. Bring the people you listed.
