Hickam's passenger terminal on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam serves Space-A flights on Oahu. Air Mobility Command welcomes passengers to the AMC terminal at Hickam Air Force Base, home of the 735th Air Mobility Squadron. Hickam Field was built in the 1930s on land adjacent to Pearl Harbor and later joined the Navy yard as a joint base. The military airfield is distinct from Honolulu's civilian Daniel K. Inouye International Airport next door.

Where is the passenger terminal?

Hickam Passenger Terminal, 355 Mamiya Avenue, Bldg 2028, JB Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI 96853.

GPS 355 Mamiya Avenue, not a generic “Pearl Harbor” or airport pin. On the Hickam airfield side of the joint base. No published terminal map URL on the AMC page.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The AMC terminal page does not name a preferred Space-A gate.

Official Pass & ID (confirm the day you travel; hours conflict across official pages):

Print all three clocks. Unresolved until the desk confirms. Unescorted non-DoD guests: sponsor submits SECNAV 5512/1 and JB2 Form 0-180 (email box on the 15 WG page: 647SFS.JB2.Form0-180@us.af.mil). REAL ID–compliant ID required. Weekend / 0400 roll calls are a planning problem if you do not already have installation access. Do not use a COVID-era archived gate-hours PDF as current.

Do not use MCAS Kaneohe Bay Facebook/signup for Hickam (separate Marine terminal).

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours (official AMC page — workbook matches): 0400–2200L daily; doors open 1 hour prior to roll call during closure hours.

Phone — DO NOT silently pick. Unresolved until the live official page or the desk confirms.

(808) 789-7264 vs (808) 664-7264/7265 vs 664-7111 is unresolved. The directory and the Sep 2025 Wayback still show 664-; a 27 Aug 2026 index of the terminal page shows 789-7264. Carry both 789-7264 and 664-7264/7265 (and 664-7111 as a recording/option line if the live page still prints it). Confirm on the official page the morning you travel.

888-749-8227 on the AMC page is SIXT rental car, not the passenger counter.

Do not publish DSN (315) or any (312) as a commercial Hickam number. Unofficial spacea.net (808) 664-7111 is a lead only.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Email 735ams.trps@us.af.mil, or use the HQ AMC Space-A email form and select JB Pearl Harbor-Hickam HI. Hickam is on the 40-location form list.

HQ AMC does not process sign-up. Print the form or confirmation. Unofficial blogs describing “virtual roll call” are not on the official AMC page — do not treat VRC as a Hickam procedure unless the live page or the desk says it is. AMC Self-Signup Tool for AMC locations.

How and when do I mark present?

The page does not print a named “mark present” counter. Arrive one hour prior to any advertised roll call. Remote email is not present. Have IDs, orders, and bags. Loitering / “hanging out” in the terminal is not allowed at this time.

When is roll call?

On the 72-Hour / Roll Call icons on the AMC Hickam page. HTML rule: be there 1 hour before advertised roll call. When the terminal is closed, doors open 1 hour prior to roll call.

Feb 2025 filenames still attached to some snapshots (HICKAM_72HR_13_FEB_2025.pdf, HICKAM_ROLLCALL_12FEB2025.pdf) are dated, not current. Use whatever 72-hour file the live icon opens today. Fully quit the browser to refresh. All flights change without notice.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Not printed as a standing early-bird clock on the live HTML (unlike Kadena/Yokota). Follow the 72-hour remarks for that mission. Do not import another terminal’s 1800-the-day-prior rule.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Hickam is a 735 AMS AMC passenger terminal and the page links an AMC Gram. The live HTML does not print a standing PE destination list in the welcome/contact text.

The Gram file still linked from snapshots is HICKAM AMC Gram (Feb 2025).pdf — dated, not current. Do not treat February 2025 as this month’s rotator. Check the live 72-hour. Do not build CONUS/Pacific hops from unofficial blogs.

Travel-to language on the page (leave vs official ID) exists for Japan, Korea, Guam, and Kwajalein — that is FCG/entry guidance, not a promise those PE routes operate this week. K-ETA “Visit Korea Year” exemption text on the page still cites 1 Apr 2023–31 Dec 2024 and is expired as a current exemption; use the live FCG / ROK guidance, not that paragraph.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Not published on the official AMC Hickam HTML. The dated Feb 2025 Gram was not successfully retrieved (AMC PDF 500; Wayback 404). Do not invent a lot or a day cap from unofficial directories.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

AF Inns: the official AF Inns property directory (https://af.dodlodging.net/ checked 27 Aug 2026) lists Yokota, Kadena, Osan, etc. — it does not list Hickam, Pearl Harbor, or JBPHH. On-base Air Force Inns lodging is Not published from that directory. Do not paste “Royal Alakaʻi / Mamala Bay” from unofficial blogs or a dated Gram unless an official AF Inns page exists (it does not in the current locator).

Off-base: Not published on the AMC terminal page (SIXT on-site is a rental car, reservations only, 0600L–2300L, 888-749-8227). No hotel endorsement list here. Nightly rates are not published here.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

AMC page: AAFES Full Bird Cafe 0600L–1500L Monday–Friday. Wi-Fi, showers, and lockers are not published on the AMC HTML. Loitering is not allowed.

USO: the AMC page quick-links USO Hawaii. Official USO Hawaii locations list Pearl Harbor-Hickam at 40 Hickam Court, Building 1256 — that is not Bldg 2028. A USO Hawaii story describes a center inside the AMC Passenger Terminal; clock hours for that lounge are not published on the USO location list. Do not mix Bldg 1256 hours with the AMC hold room. Daniel K. Inouye International Airport USO (300 Rodgers Blvd #48, 808-836-3351) is the airport USO, not this terminal.

What documents are required?

Page policy (effective immediately on the HTML):

  • Dependents under 14 travel with the sponsor/eligible parent and need Federal/State/local/tribal photo ID (valid passport or raised-seal birth certificate — not a hospital certificate).
  • Sponsor must show proof of sponsorship / DoD ID number for those dependents (MilConnect).
  • 100% DAV: USID with “100% DAV” in the affiliation block (sponsor and any dependents).
  • Retirees: USID with “Retired” in the sponsor affiliation block (and matching dependent cards).
  • If the ID has no DoD ID number, PSA will solicit it (MilConnect).

Japan leave: passport; visa not required for stays up to 90 days (page). Japan official: CAC/USID + orders; special-issuance official passport rules as printed for civilians/EFMs. Guam: passport or State Enhanced Driver’s License. Kwajalein: Military/DoD ID, leave/travel orders, passport, and entry authorization (55-R) (K-badge for returning residents in lieu of 55-R/Form 480).

Footwear: open-toed / open-heeled (including Crocs with a back strap) and narrow high heels not authorized on military aircraft; exempt on commercial contract aircraft (e.g. B757).

CONUS including Alaska: U.S. Department of Agriculture screening.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Not printed on the live Hickam HTML (no 2×70 lb block, no head-tax dollar figure). Cashless terminal — credit cards only (banner). Do not import another terminal’s $41.63.

Can I travel with pets from here?

The live HTML highlights a State of Hawaii Animal Industry Division QR code and USDA screening for CONUS/Alaska. It does not print a local pet-counter SOP. HQ AMC Pet Travel page: PE pets are PCS via TMO, limited. Confirm with the desk; do not assume a Space-A pet slot.

Where are schedules posted?

Which number do I actually call — 789-7264 or 664-7264?

Unresolved. Live terminal-page index 27 Aug 2026: (808) 789-7264. Live AMC directory and Sep 2025 Wayback: (808) 664-7264/7265. A recording line (808) 664-7111 also appears on some official snapshots. Print all. Confirm on the official page that morning. Do not treat 789 as “wrong” or 664 as “stale” without that check.

Is (808) 789-7264 a workbook-only error?

Not necessarily — a 27 Aug 2026 index of the official terminal page prints it. It still conflicts with the directory. That is the conflict this FAQ will not silently resolve.

Can I wait all day in the terminal between roll calls?

No. Loitering / hanging out is not allowed. Ask the Passenger Service Center (whatever commercial the live page lists that day).

Doors at 0300 for a 0400-hour roll call?

If that roll call falls outside 0400–2200, the page says doors open 1 hour prior to roll call. Still arrive 1 hour prior to the advertised roll call. Confirm the 72-hour.

Is there AF Inns on Hickam?

Not on the official AF Inns locator (27 Aug 2026). Do not quote unofficial inn names as AF Inns.

Is the USO at 40 Hickam Court the AMC lounge?

No. That is USO Hawaii’s Pearl Harbor-Hickam center (Bldg 1256). The AMC terminal is Bldg 2028. A USO-in-terminal lounge is described in a USO story without clock hours.

Can I pay cash?

No. Banner: cashless, credit cards only.

Does the Korea K-ETA exemption on the page still apply?

The printed exemption window ended 31 Dec 2024. Treat that paragraph as dated. Use current ROK/FCG rules.

Can I use Kaneohe Bay’s Space-A board for Hickam?

No. MCAS Kaneohe Bay is a separate Marine terminal with its own signup. Hickam email is 735ams.trps@us.af.mil.

Open-toed shoes / Crocs?

Not on military aircraft (Crocs with a heel strap included). Contract B757-type is the printed exception.

Is SIXT the terminal phone?

No. 888-749-8227 is SIXT, reservations only.

What if I need a visitor pass for a Saturday 0500 show?

Pass & ID is weekday only on every official clock we have. That is a planning problem. Get access sorted on a duty day.
