Official Beale Space-A Program pages welcome travelers to the Beale Passenger Terminal at Beale Air Force Base in northern California. The page currently describes limited passenger-terminal services and Space-A registration. Air Mobility Command lists Beale among Non-AMC CONUS terminals, separate from Travis Air Force Base. Space-A flights here are a small air-terminal function published by the installation, not an AMC Pacific gateway.

Last verified 27 August 2026. Hours, fees, and presence rules change. Confirm with this terminal’s official page before you travel. Pop’s is unofficial.

Where is the passenger terminal?

Building 1013, near the control tower, Beale AFB, CA. Workbook address matches.

GPS 1013, not a generic “Beale AFB” pin and not Building 1023 (the Space-A page uses 1023 only as the gate-distance reference). On base. The page does not publish a terminal-map URL.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

Gate conflict on official pages — confirm with Law Enforcement Desk (530) 634-2131 before you drive.

Beale Space-A page (Wayback 16 Jun 2026 / live snippets 27 Aug 2026) — five gates:

1. Schneider Gate — open 24 hrs, 7 days off North Beale Rd (7 miles from Building 1023). Page typo: “open open.” 2. Grass Valley Gate — 0600–0800 M–F inbound/outbound and 1500–1800 outbound only off Chuck Yeager Rd (8 miles from Bldg 1023). 3. Vassar Lake Gate — 24 hrs, 7 days off Camp Beale Highway (9 miles from Bldg 1023). 4. Doolittle Gate — 0600–1800 M–F Hammonton-Smartsville Rd (4 miles from Bldg 1023). 5. Wheatland Gate — 0600–1800 M–F off Highway 65 & South Beale Rd (6 miles from Bldg 1023).

Air Force Inns Beale additional information (live 27 Aug 2026) disagrees:

  • Doolittle and Vassar Lake: 24/7
  • Wheatland: 0500–2100
  • Grass Valley: 0500–2100
  • Main gate (Schneider): closed indefinitely

Do not invent a single clock from that mix. The Space-A page tells you to call LED (530) 634-2131 for current hours. CAC / DoD ID holders use an open vehicle-access gate. A Saturday/Sunday show with no pass is a planning problem if Schneider is actually closed and VCC/Welcome Center hours are not the PAX clock.

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours (Beale Space-A page): 0700–1600 Monday–Friday. Weekend/holiday desk hours are not printed.

AMC directory (live 27 Aug 2026) prints only (530) 634-9176 / 8982 and DSN (312) 368-9176 / 8982. Page also lists 8128 — print it; do not drop it. Do not publish (312) as a commercial number. Dial 530-634-xxxx. Page DSN prefix is 368.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

The page accepts sign-ups from other than “.mil” sites but is not responsible for lost/delayed/incorrect data from those sites; take that up with the third-party site. Keep a copy of the sent email. HQ AMC does not process Beale on the 40-location form.

How and when do I mark present?

Once Space-A passengers report to the Passenger Terminal, they must check-in at the counter in order to mark themselves present. Remote email/fax is not presence. Then: review updated flight information, baggage, prohibited items; await your Space-A call and follow the representative.

Published desk clock is 0700–1600 M–F. A show outside that window is not covered by a printed after-hours rule.

When is roll call?

Not published as a clock or PDF. The page says await your Space-A call at the counter after you mark present. No “N hours prior” line. Facebook weekly is not a roll-call product.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Not published as a duty NLT or PE 24-hour check-in. This is a limited-services small air terminal, not a PE gateway on the official page.

Active duty (page): may travel Category III with dependents; the Active Duty sponsor must be on leave at the time of sign up; present accurate documentation to the Passenger Terminal Representative.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Not published as a PE gateway. No 30-day PE PDF. Featured links include Travis, Dover, Joint Base Lindsey Graham, JB MDL, Ramstein, JBER, McChord passenger-terminal pages — those are other terminals, not Beale destinations. Do not plan a rotator from Beale from a blog. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Long-term parking (Space-A page): near the flight line off Douglas Street. A base shuttle stop is across the street from that lot. Pickup times printed: Monday–Friday, 0600 / 0700 / 1100 / 1200 / 1300 / 1500 / 1600. Another shuttle stop is near Gold Country Inn.

Max days, short-term vs long-term split, dash-pass rules: Not published. Do not invent a 7-day/14-day cap.

Shuttle-clock conflict: AF Inns additional info (live 27 Aug 2026) prints base shuttle (530) 634-2542 / 43, 0600–0800 and 1500–1700, Monday–Friday except holidays. That is not the same list as the Space-A page’s six pickup times. Use the Space-A page for the Douglas St PAX lot times; confirm with Vehicle Ops / the terminal. Uber/Lyft (AF Inns): welcome on base if you notify Security Forces at the gate first; drivers need a current placard and are still background-checked.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

On base — address conflict on official pages:

  • Air Force Inns (live 27 Aug 2026): Beale AFB / Gold Country Inn, 24112 A St., Beale AFB, CA 95903. Main 530-634-3662 / 530-634-2954 / 530-634-2953; DSN 368-3662 / 368-2953. Pet-friendly listed; contact the desk (do not rely on the web form for pets/children). Gold Country Inn does not accept traveler’s checks. 24112 vs 5786 A St. is unresolved. GPS both or call the desk. The Space-A HTML does not print walking time from Bldg 1013.

Off-base: Space-A page “Local Area Transportation” lists Amtrak / Greyhound Marysville, Sacramento Super Shuttle, Yuba City/Marysville cabs, Enterprise Yuba City (gate service only). Ensure the company has base access. No nightly hotel rates published here.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

Not published on the Space-A HTML. Do not plan a snack bar, showers, or lockers from unofficial directories. Inn amenities are not terminal amenities.

What documents are required?

Page item 3: leave paperwork, valid Uniformed Services ID, passport/visa or other documents required by origin/destination — different for each traveler. Contact the departure terminal. Link-out to travel.state.gov. Active duty must be on leave at sign-up. Have documents on your person.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Not printed as local numbers. The page says do not exceed baggage weight limits and links AMC baggage allowances / prohibited items (AMC + TSA). Do not copy another terminal’s 2×70 or PE $41.63. Fees: not published (consistent with not being a PE gateway).

Can I travel with pets from here?

Not published as a Beale pet-slot policy. Limited-services organic missions are not a PE pet program. AF Inns: call the desk for pet rooms. See the AMC Pet Travel page.

Where are schedules posted?

Both are official; they disagree. AMC directory 9msg.sdairops@us.af.mil. Beale Space-A page 9sds.sdsmm.spacea@us.af.mil. Do not silently pick. Use the page mailbox and keep the AMC box; print confirmation.

Is the Facebook weekly my 72-hour?

No. It is the only schedule channel the official page links, and it is not a production AMC 72-hour PDF. Do not paste the Facebook URL into a 72-hour field as if it were Travis/Ramstein.

Unofficial sites say Beale stopped Space-A on 29 Jan 2025. Is the terminal closed?

Unofficial (spacea.net-class) lead only. The official Space-A page was still live on 16 Jun 2026 with 0700–1600 M–F, and live AMC Non-AMC CONUS still lists Beale on 27 Aug 2026. Do not treat a blog shutdown as verification. Confirm on the live beale.af.mil page and with the desk.

Schneider 24/7 or closed indefinitely?

Conflict. Space-A page: Schneider 24/7. AF Inns: Main/Schneider closed indefinitely. Call LED (530) 634-2131. Do not assume a North Beale Rd 24-hour passenger gate.

24112 A St or 5786 A St for Gold Country Inn?

Conflict. AF Inns 24112 A St. Arriving-to-Beale 5786 A St. Call 530-634-2953 / 3662.

Why does AMC omit 8128?

AMC directory prints 9176 / 8982 only. The official terminal page prints 9176 / 8982 / 8128. Official page wins for the extra extension; keep all three.

Must I be on leave just to sign up?

Yes for active duty on this HTML (CAT III; sponsor on leave at sign-up).

Can I ride the shuttle from Douglas St parking at 1100?

Space-A page lists 1100 among M–F pickups. AF Inns shuttle window is 0600–0800 and 1500–1700 only. Conflict. Confirm with (530) 634-2542 / 43 / the terminal.

Is Beale on the HQ AMC email form?

No (not on the 40-location list). Email/fax/in-person per the Beale page.

TMO 2932 for Space-A?

No. Directory TMO Passenger Travel (530) 634-2932 / 5191 is official/PCS. Space-A phones are 9176 / 8982 / 8128.

Does “limited services” mean no ride to lodging?

The page only promises aircraft → passenger terminal transportation. Shuttle to Gold Country Inn is a separate base shuttle, with conflicting clocks (see parking). Do not assume a terminal courtesy van.

Is the Galaxy Note 7 banner still current?

It is still printed on the 16 Jun 2026 capture (2016 DOT/FAA recall). Treat as stale chrome, not a 2026 travel restriction unique to Beale.
