Space-A flights at Andersen Air Force Base on Guam move through the 734th Air Mobility Squadron AMC passenger terminal in Yigo. Official 36th Wing pages state Andersen has the largest fuel storage and largest munitions storage capacity in the United States Air Force. The installation is among the westernmost U.S. military sites and supports Pacific airlift from the territory of Guam. This AMC passenger terminal is distinct from Hawaii or Japan aerial ports.

Where is the passenger terminal?

(Next to) B-20016 Arc Light Blvd, Andersen AFB, GU 96929 — AMC prints “(New address pending).”

The page banner: the terminal has been re-located further down Arc Light Blvd., past the Pet Lodge. A June 2025 capture also said “at the end of Arc Light Blvd. on the left-hand side, across the street from the Andersen Pet Lodge.” On base. No terminal-map URL on the AMC page.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The AMC Andersen page does not print gate names or gate hours.

From andersen.af.mil Visitor Control Center (search-indexed official page, 27 Aug 2026): persons without a military ID, DoD civilian/contractor ID, or active base-access pass must enter through the North Gate VCC, Bldg 14615, off Route 9, North Gate Road.

North Gate VCC hours (installation page): Monday–Friday 6 a.m.–2 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m.–4 p.m. (lunch 11 a.m.–12 p.m. Saturdays); Sunday closed; closed Federal holidays. Phone 671-366-5477. CAC / DoD ID holders use an open vehicle-access gate. Gate-hour graphics live on that page (Air Force Connect app); they change. A Sunday or after-VCC-hours roll call with no pass is a planning problem.

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours (AMC page): 0800–2000L. Older videoid captures that print 24/7 are stale.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Email spacea.signup@us.af.mil, or use the HQ AMC Space-A email form and select Andersen AFB Guam.

HQ AMC does not process sign-up. The AMC form warns the terminal may not receive the email. Print the completed form or confirmation and bring it. If you get no confirmation, use the counter/recording numbers above — do not resend a duplicate that resets your date/time unless the terminal tells you to.

How and when do I mark present?

The AMC page does not use the phrase “mark present.” Space-A / duty-standby selection is at roll call. Remote email sign-up is not presence.

Have passports, orders, pet paperwork, and all bags with you. PE early-bird check-in: bring all belongings including carry-on, pets with kennel, and all people traveling.

When is roll call?

Approximately 3 hours 20 minutes prior to departure, unless the 72-hour forecast says otherwise. Show times for processing are on the 72-hour flight forecast.

Conflict: some older AMC videoid mirrors of this URL print ~2 hours 20 minutes. The live / Sept 2025 Wayback main-page text is 3 hours 20 minutes. Use the live 72-hour PDF. All flights can change or cancel without notice.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

PE: Do not use the show time from the booking agency. Contact the passenger terminal. PE show times differ from the standard because of volume; missing the terminal timeline means denied travel. Schedules and show times are posted at least 3 days prior; PE updates are on the Patriot Express / 30-Day Schedule icon.

Duty / Space-A: Follow the 72-hour show times. The page does not print a separate “counters open N hours prior” PE clock beyond that PE warning.

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Yes. The AMC page: PE missions currently operate every two weeks. Booking for passengers and pets traveling on orders is through TMO / NAVPTO, not the Space-A mailbox.

This FAQ does not quote the live 30-day PDF destinations or seats. Open the Patriot Express Schedule icon on the official page. Unofficial Sea-Tac / Kadena rotator lists (spacea.net and blogs) are leads only. Do not plan a hop from a blog.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Short-term: up to 14 days at the current Passenger Service Terminal. Space-A / Space-R passengers flying out of Andersen only. First-come, first-serve. Placard from a Passenger Service Agent in the windshield. Vehicles over 14 days: cite/tow, and may not return for a minimum of 30 days.

Long-term: MAXIMUM 30 days at the old Passenger Service Terminal, building 17002 Arc Light Blvd. The page also says there is no longer long-term parking at the new terminal due to limited space.

Curb: 1-hour limit in front of the Passenger Terminal. Meet Guam/base registration, insurance, and safety rules. Government is not liable for loss/theft/damage. No taxi/shuttle numbers on the AMC page.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

On base (AF Inns rule): Not listed. https://af.dodlodging.net/ has no Andersen AFB / Guam property in the official dropdown. `af.dodlodging.net/propertys/Andersen-AFB` returns page not found. Joint Region Marianas NB Guam on that portal is Navy NGIS at Naval Base Guam, not Andersen — not used here.

The AMC terminal page does not list lodging. The Pet Lodge on Arc Light Blvd is a relocation landmark / pet facility, not transient lodging. Off-base hotels are not published on the AMC page. No nightly rates here.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

USO Andersen is not inside the AMC hold room. AMC page: behind the Base Exchange in the Top of the Rock, Building 26006. Open 1000–1800 daily. Phone (671)-654-4876.

Hours conflict — AMC page first: live guam.uso.org/andersen (27 Aug 2026) lists 0900–1600 Monday–Friday, closed weekends (holiday short hours on that page). Confirm in person.

Official USO Andersen amenities include beverages/coffee/snacks/grill, Wi-Fi, CAC computers, printers, phones, games, movie area, children’s play area, lounge, patio. Showers and lockers are not on that amenities list. AMC page does not document terminal Wi-Fi, food, or lockers independent of USO. PE banner: long waits — bring food/snacks.

What documents are required?

Duty / PE on orders: orders and destination docs. Japan on leave (FCG, printed on the AMC page): regular blue tourist passport. FCG: https://apacs.milcloud.mil/fcg/fcg.cfm

Dependents (AMC Andersen page): age 14+ — dependent ID plus passport or birth certificate for citizenship. Under 14 — DD Form 1172 (DEERS printout from milConnect) plus passport or birth certificate.

Space-A: DoDI 4515.13 eligibility. 100% disabled veterans (excluding retirees) without a DoD ID that says “Retired” are limited by Table 3 #47 (CONUS / AK / HI / PR / USVI / Guam / American Samoa rules as printed). Bring sign-up confirmation.

Arriving Guam: as of 25 Feb 2025, Guam Customs & Quarantine Electronic Declaration Form (EDF) only at this PAX terminal (www.cqa.guam.gov). Complete up to 3 days prior; otherwise complete on arrival before seeing CBP.

Do not pack passports or pet papers in a checked bag.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Bags (AMC page): 2 checked bags per person, 70 lb and 62 linear inches each. One carry-on plus one personal item that fits under a seat.

PE Space-A head tax / FIS: the page links a 2024 Head Tax / Segment Fees / FIS table (“click here”) rather than printing a 2026 dollar figure on the HTML. Head tax is collected on Space-A on DoD commercially contracted missions into/out of CTUS. Do not invent a 2026 dollar amount from another terminal.

Payment conflict: a June 2025 capture said cash and card for PE. Official announcement quoted from the later AFPIMS page: effective 9 August 2025, card only for Patriot Express. Use card. Fees change.

Can I travel with pets from here?

On orders / PE: yes, booked through TMO / NAVPTO with the passenger. In-cabin pet in first class is not permitted. Bring the pet and kennel to early-bird check-in.

The AMC page does not publish a Space-A pet-slot policy. Pets on organic (“grey tail”) aircraft are generally not an AMC PE product. You own microchip, shots, Guam rabies-free / destination rules. See the AMC Pet Travel page. Call the counter before you count on a slot.

Did the terminal move?

Yes. It is further down Arc Light Blvd, past the Pet Lodge, next to B-20016, new address still pending. Do not GPS the old terminal at 17002 except for long-term parking.

Can I pay cash for the PE head tax?

Treat card-only as of 9 Aug 2025 as the later official rule. Older “cash and card” lines are stale.

Do I use the TMO show time on my tickets?

No. Contact the passenger terminal. Missing their timeline is denied travel.

Is 24/7 still the hour of operation?

No. Official hours are 0800–2000L. After-hour ticketing (671-688-3379) is not a 24/7 Space-A counter.

Which number is the real Space-A desk — 3545 or 5165?

Conflict. Terminal page counter is (671) 366-3545. Live AMC directory is (671) 366-5165. Recording is (671) 366-6148. Record all three; this FAQ does not pick a silent winner for 3545 vs 5165. Start with the page.

Is AF Inns on Andersen?

Not on af.dodlodging.net. Do not book Joint Region Marianas NGIS and assume it is next to this terminal (that inn is Naval Base Guam).

Are showers in the AMC hold room?

Not published on the AMC page or the USO Andersen amenities list. Do not plan on them.

What about a blue no-fee passport to Japan on leave?

The AMC page says the regular blue tourist passport is required to fly to Japan on leave. Read the FCG; that line is leave-status, not a PCS/no-fee substitute.

Can a 100% DAV fly Space-A from here to Japan or Korea?

The page quotes DoDI 4515.13 Table 3 #47 limits for veterans without a “Retired” DoD ID (Guam is in the allowed set; that is not a worldwide hop). Confirm category with the counter.

Where is the USO relative to roll call?

Top of the Rock, Bldg 26006, behind the BX — not in the passenger terminal. USO weekend hours conflict with the AMC “daily” line; a Saturday PE wait may find USO closed if the USO site is current.

Is the Pet Lodge lodging?

No. It is a pet/quarantine landmark used in the driving directions.
