Where is the passenger terminal?

Al Udeid Passenger Terminal, BLDG 3976.

That is the only address on the official AMC HTML page. GPS a building number, not a generic “Al Udeid AB” pin. The terminal is on base.

No base-map task for this terminal. The AMC page does not publish a terminal-map URL. Do not invent a gate map.

How do I get on base / which gate should I use?

The AMC 379-EAPS page does not print gate names or gate hours. Do not invent a main-gate / visitor-center plan from unofficial blogs.

The 72-hour and 30-day icons on that page are miswired to “BASE ACCESS SLIDES” PDFs (base-access briefing, not a flight board). Treat those PDFs as access slides if you open them; they are not a substitute for a published gate list. Confirm access with your sponsor / unit and the passenger terminal (DSN below) before you show.

What are hours, phone, DSN, and email?

Hours (AMC page): 24 Hours / Day.

Service counter phone: DSN 318-455-5285 only. The AMC page prints no commercial PSTN. Live AMC Passenger Terminal Directory (CENTCOM row, 27 Aug 2026): Commercial None · DSN (318) 455-5285.

Do not invent a Qatar commercial equivalent. Do not treat AFCENT operator numbers, old 8-EAMS DSN strings, or unofficial “318-676-6424 / 318-437-2564” blog lines as the passenger-terminal commercial.

How do I sign up for Space-A?

Al Udeid is not on the HQ AMC 40-location Space-A email-form dropdown. HQ AMC does not process sign-up. AMC offers a Travel Self-Signup Tool for AMC locations — use whichever channel the live AMC Space-A page is pointing to the day you sign up.

Print the completed form or confirmation and bring it. Space-A is only authorized on Thursday Patriot Express rotators (CMB119) per the AMC page.

Unofficial blogs still advertise 8eams.paxsignup@auab.afcent.af.mil — flagged unofficial / stale.

How and when do I mark present?

The AMC page does not use the phrase “mark present.” Remote email sign-up is not presence.

Space-A / Space-R roll call begins at 6 hours prior to departure (to facilitate US/CENTCOM customs). Have orders/ULN, ID, and all bags with you. Space-R travelers “will only know if they made the flight 3 hours prior to departure.”

PIVOT 26.1 / 26.2 rotators: baggage drop-off is by chalk window from the first letter of the last name (unless the 30-day schedule says otherwise):

  • A–G: 24–22 hours prior
  • H–O: 21–19 hours prior
  • P–Z: 18–16 hours prior
When is roll call?

Space-A / Space-R: 6 hours prior to departure.

Space-required (ULN/ITARS) on military aircraft: must be checked in before space-required roll call, printed as 3 hours prior.

The Roll Call icon is wired to a stale 8-EAMS file (`AFPIMS CURRENT - 72 hours.pdf`), not a 379-EAPS board. Use the body-text clocks above and confirm with the counter. All flights can change without notice.

When should duty / PE passengers check in?

Military aircraft (ULN/ITARS): check-in starts 6 hours prior; must be in before Space-R roll call (3 hours prior).

Rotators / commercial airlines (ULN/booked): check-in 24 to 6 hours prior; NLT 6 hours prior to departure.

Bring all checked bags, carry-ons, and personal items to get checked in. Check-in times may differ with passenger load. A DVIDS redeployment walkthrough is linked (8-EAMS title in the URL is the old unit name).

Does this terminal operate Patriot Express flights? If yes, to where?

Yes, on a standing Thursday PE rotator (CMB119). The page also says flights serve bases throughout the AOR and rotators for redeployers. That is a region list, not this week’s board.

The AMC HTML does not name a CONUS gateway (BWI, Norfolk, etc.). Unofficial “usual incoming from Hurlburt / Ramstein” writeups are flagged unofficial. Do not plan a hop from a blog rumor. This FAQ does not quote live seats.

The 30-day icon is miswired to BASE ACCESS SLIDES - 30 DAY ROTATOR.pdf — that is a base-access product, not a current PE city list.

Where is short-term and long-term parking, max days, and pass rules?

Not published on the official AMC HTML page. Do not copy unofficial lot / pass writeups. Ask the counter. Do not invent a max-day figure.

What lodging is nearby on-base and off-base?

AF Inns: no Al Udeid / Qatar property. Lodging is not named on the AMC HTML.

The AMC page says there is a shuttle bus from the terminal to lodging (spelled “logding” on the page). For larger group movements, Ground Transportation is 24/7 at DSN 455-5250. DSN only; do not invent a commercial.

Non-.mil FSS pages and unofficial Space-A blogs that print housing-office DSN/cell numbers are not AF Inns verification. No nightly rates published here.

Is there a USO, food, Wi-Fi, showers, lockers?

Not published on the official AMC HTML page (no wifi / lounge / vending block).

Unofficial blogs list USO, Wi-Fi, Eagle Cash, and baggage carts — flagged unofficial. Do not plan on showers or lockers from those writeups.

What documents are required?

ULN/ITARS (duty): copy of orders (or DoD civilian/contractor Line of Accounting) for the agents to keep, plus DoD ID. Additional destination requirements are in the Foreign Clearance Guide.

Space-R: if you have no ULN/ITARS and seats exist; signup is good 10 days; not guaranteed.

Space-A: eligibility under DoDI 4515.13, plus FCG / Force Health Protection for the destination. Authorized only on Thursday PE (CMB119) here.

Have documents on your person, not packed.

What are baggage limits and Space-A/PE fees if published?

Carry-on on rotators/commercial (AMC page): must fit 22 × 14 × 9 or 45 linear inches. Oversize carry-ons will be checked.

Checked-bag count/weight for organic missions is not printed as a 2×70 lb line on this HTML (unlike many CONUS pages). TSA what-can-I-bring is linked.

PE Space-A fee (AMC page): $40.81 per passenger — Head Tax $22.90 and Federal Inspection Fee $17.91. Credit card only. Fees change; do not treat a 2026 number as locked months out.

Can I travel with pets from here?

The AMC page links AMC Pet Travel in the chrome. It does not publish an Al Udeid-specific pet-slot policy, kennel rule, or “pets not accepted” banner.

You own the paperwork (microchip, shots, destination/CDC rules). Confirm with the terminal before you count on a pet space.

Can I use the HQ AMC email form and pick Al Udeid?

Is 8eams.paxsignup@auab.afcent.af.mil still valid?

Treat it as stale. Current official mailbox is 379eaps.pax.signup@us.af.mil. Unofficial blogs still repeat the 8-EAMS address.

Is Space-A allowed on cargo / organic missions here?

The AMC page restricts Space-A to Thursday PE rotators (CMB119). Do not assume leftover C-17 seats.

What is the uniform rule?

Check-in: uniform of the day or collared shirt and slacks. Traveling: uniform of the day unless orders say otherwise.

How long is a Space-R signup good for?

10 days. Selection is not guaranteed; you learn at 3 hours prior.

Is there a current AMC Gram?

The linked Gram is April 2024 in the superseded 8-EAMS folder. Dated. Do not treat parking/lodging lines in that pamphlet as current.

Does the shuttle run at 0200?

The page says a shuttle to lodging exists and Ground Transportation is 24/7 at DSN 455-5250 for larger groups. It does not print shuttle clock hours. Ask the counter.

Qatar visas / FCG for leisure Space-A into Al Udeid?

The AMC page tells travelers to check the FCG for destination requirements. It does not print a Qatar visa matrix. FCG is the official source; this FAQ does not invent host-nation rules.

Are the 72-hour / 30-day PDFs this week’s board?

No. Those icons are base-access slides, not a seat board. Do not quote them as flights.
