Privacy Policy

The app does not require an account or login. You do not need to provide a name, email address, or traveler profile to use its flight, terminal, or informational features. There is no Pop's user account and no Pop's cloud sync of a traveler profile. The app does not include advertising.

The Closest feature may use your device's location only after you grant permission, so it can calculate nearby terminals. Location permission is optional. You can instead enter a location manually, and you can change location permission in your device settings.

A location you choose or enter may be saved locally on your device so the app can restore it later. The app does not require this saved location to identify an account.

If you type a city, ZIP code, airport, or address, the app may send that search text to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to turn it into a map point. Nominatim may also be used to label a GPS location you already allowed. Those lookups are not a Pop's account and are not used to track you as a traveler.

The app downloads publicly available flight, terminal, weather, and Travel Alerts information from Pop's Space-A services at popsspacea.com, including the public HTTPS Travel Alerts JSON feed. Copies of those public responses and their update times may be cached locally on your device to improve reliability and show previously loaded information when a network request fails. This cache is not a traveler profile.

Matching Travel Alerts to Favorite Terminals, Saved Flights, Route Watches, or Destination Watch happens on the device. Those local interests are not uploaded to Pop's as a traveler profile.

Favorite Terminals, Saved Flights, Route Watches, Destination Watch, Travel Alerts read or unread state, travel checklist marks, signup profile, survey answers, confirmation screenshots or PDFs, NEW-flight history, home layout preference, survey eligibility counters, and store review prompt state stay on this device unless you later choose to send something yourself, such as a survey email or a signup email.

Terminal weather is supplied by Open-Meteo through a Pop's Space-A server-side cache. Forecast requests use published terminal coordinates, not a traveler's GPS location.

Push notifications are currently disabled. The app does not currently subscribe to Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) or Apple Push Notification service (APNs), and it does not send push messages. If a later version enables Flight Watch Notifications, the device may then subscribe to FCM and APNs topics named after the watched route or destination. That would disclose the watched route or destination to the push provider. Firebase does not receive signup profile, checklist, or proof files. Optional signup review reminders, when used, are scheduled on the device only and do not use Firebase.

Any signup profile a traveler creates stays on that traveler's device. Signup emails are composed and sent through the traveler's chosen mail app rather than sent by Pop's Space-A.

Customize Pop's / Help Improve Pop's survey answers stay on the device until the traveler explicitly submits them. Submission uses the device mail app and is emailed to Pop at popsspacea@gmail.com. It is not anonymous because the traveler's email address may appear on that message. Local eligibility counters stay on the device. Store review prompts use local eligibility only; Apple and Google do not tell Pop's whether a review was actually submitted.

The app opens some resources in your device's external browser, including Pop's Space-A pages, official AMC pages, social/community resources, support, and feedback. Those destinations may collect or process information under their own privacy practices.

If you use the feedback page, the website collects the topic, optional terminal, message, optional reply email, and whether the submission came from the Tips screen. Submissions are saved in a server-side feedback log so they can be reviewed and, when an email is supplied, answered. Email is optional. Please do not include sensitive personal, medical, financial, operational, or classified information.

If you use the tester application, Pop collects your name, the testing platform you choose (iOS, Android, or both), the Apple Account/TestFlight and/or Google Play email associated with that platform, your Space-A connection, other Space-A affiliation answers, optional organization name and URL when you select Yes, and the required tester acknowledgments. Applications are stored privately, outside the public website files, for manual review. Submitting the form does not create an account, does not grant TestFlight or Google Play access, and does not send a testing invitation. Pop does not ask for military identification, retirement documents, orders, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, or financial information. The tester application does not send a completed-application analytics event and does not ask for an analytics-consent answer.

Pop's Space-A website pages use Google Analytics to understand website usage. Google may receive browser, device, interaction, and approximate location information through its analytics technology. This website analytics disclosure applies when you visit the website, including support, privacy, and feedback pages in a browser. The app does not include a separate analytics or advertising SDK.
